Yes! I went book thrifting again and I ordered a few books online. Don't judge! I am always on the look out for new and exciting books! I'm really excited to dive into to these at some point *looking at current tbr*. Yeah umm I'll read these one day soon....

Haul:

Lovely War, by Julie Berry

I adore this book and just had to have my own copy. This book and the characters hold my heart and I could re-read it a ton of times.

Redeeming Love, by Francine Rivers

I have heard so many amazing things about this book and decided to add it to my collection. I'm only fourteen so I think, since this book is based on the book of Hosea in the Bible, I'm going to wait a few years until I read it. This book is about a prostitute coming to Jesus and finding redemption in Him and I think I want to hold off a little bit until I read it. But I'm really excited to read it when the time comes.

Son, by Lois Lowry

I love the Giver quartet and only own the first three books. I looked at my shelf day after day and saw those three lonely books aching to be completed. I just had to get the last book. It's probably my favorite in the whole series and I'm so glad to have my own copy.

This book is most definitely due an updated review but HERE is my ancient post about it :)

Apollyon, by Tim LaHaye & Jerry B. Jenkins

In my last book haul post I got the first book in this series and although this is the fifth book, I still got it.
I have hear SO MANY amazing things about this series and can't wait to start it!

The Picture of Dorian Gray, by Oscar Wilde

I don't think I've ever been more excited to read a classic.  I have heard a lot of amazing things about this book and I cannot wait to see what all the hype is about. I'm going into this book blind and I'm not really what it's about; I'm pretty sure it has something to do with a guy named Dorian Gray. But, who knows?

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, by J.K. Rowling

This is probably one of the most controversial books for Christians. I've heard a lot of great things about this series and then a lot of not so great things. I saw it at the thrift store and thought, "Why not? It's only $1.00." So, I got it. My current thought process is to try it out, listen to the Holy Spirit and then judge it for myself. I'm really curious to form my own thoughts about it. But I'm also really adamant about listening to the Holy Spirit. Which means I'll stop reading it if I have to.
So yeah, there's a little window into my ponderings :).

Tuck Everlasting, by Natalie Babbit

This is one my absolute favorite books of all time. I read it last year and I am already getting the itch to read it again. The story and writing is exquisite. I could go on and on about it. I urge you to read this book! I love it so much I just had to get my own copy. It has earned it's place on my shelf

Happy Reading!
