"Don't be afraid of death; be afraid of an unlived life. You don't have to live forever, you just have to live."
Tuck Everlasting, by Natalie Babbitt is a classic and heartwarming little story. I loved this book and the moral lessons that were continually weaved throughout. I loved the plot of this book and wouldn't change anything about it. Although the end was kind of sad, I appreciated it at the same time. I think that Winnie's character was very relatable and although the book was short, I feel like I got to know the character's so well. This is an unforgettable and unique story that will forever have a place in my head. I think I can truly call this book a "friend." A lot of people would be greedy when the opportunity to live forever came to them, but I really loved the lesson this book gave about that. Life isn't about living forever it's about living to the full purpose God has set before you and giving him all the glory. Natalie Babbitt was such a breath of fresh air! Her writing was exquisite and so full of depth and dimension.
"Life's got to be lived, no matter how long or short. You got to take what comes."
I recommend this book for ages 12+ and give it a 10 out of 10.
