Mindtalk?, by Bob Ienuso (BOOK REVIEW)
Dr. Esther Deerling has created Mindtalk. A mind communication tool that has forever changed the modern world. When Dr. Esther is unaware of the secrets known about Mindtalk....everything gets even more complicated. She meets a charming young man named Bob Wesley and tries to forget all of the drama at work, but when people start dropping dead all around the world, she has no choice but to chase after the truth.
Mindtalk?, by Bob Ienuso was quite a surprise! I know this author personally and was really not expecting this kind of book from him! It was an amazing story! It was really unique and had a bit of a futuristic vibe to it. It was a lot like a Frank Peretti kinda' book. The plot kept me tied to the pages and I finished it in about four days. The moral lessons that the author tied into every circumstance was really cool! I really liked all the characters. The mystery and intensity really kept me wanting to read more. One thing is that this is a self-published book, which means there are going to be slight mistakes or typos. For instance one of the characters last names kept switching. But that is something that could obviously be fixed. I was slightly confused at the end with the last "battle scene" as you could call it. But, you know me, I can never get enough details! Another thing is that I appreciated how this book dealt with a Christian relationship. Bob and Esther were both Christians, and both really liked each other. There intentions were clear, their thoughts were clean and they were both willing to talk about everything openly. So much of the current romances in books are super confusing, but it doesn't have to be that way. In a lot of newer romance books, the guys confused and the girl is romanticizing constantly about what the guy is thinking and all that. It's just really too much. Overall I really enjoyed this book.
I give this book a 7 out of 10 and recommend it to ages 13+
