Tilly, by Frank Peretti (Book Review)
"She was kneeling in the grass, flowers in her hands, her head bowed in prayer. She was motionless, and the colors of her hair, the flowers, the grass were all so perfect."
Dan and Kathy Ross are leaving the cemetery when they see a strange woman laying flowers at a grave. There is something so beautiful about this act and Kathy can't seem to keep her eyes off the woman. Out of curiosity Kathy walks over to gravestone and see's only one name, Tilly. With one date, nine years ago...
Tilly, by Frank Peretti was a beautiful story, of sin, regret and forgiveness. It was such a wonderful display of how lifetime regret can be relieved by the grace and mercy of Jesus. I loved how of God's grace was displayed. I did finished the book in one sitting. It is a very short book, but still so impactful. I love Frank Peretti's books and appreciated his writing. His style of writing is very raw and straight to the point, which you have to get used to.
I recommend this book for ages 13+ and give it a 8 out of 10.
