"It's the things that we love most that destroy us."
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes was a great sequel to the Hunger Games series. It was cool to see Snow's backstory. After reading this book it was cool to see how everything ties in with the rest of the series. I don't think it was my favorite, probably because of how it ends, but after all it is the story of Snow. Suzanne Collins did not disappoint and I couldn't stop reading.
I give this book a 9 out of 10 & I recommend it for ages mature teens+. Even though this is the prequel I think that reading it after the rest of the books was a better order.
