Book Haul

Ummmm yeah I did it again. What can I say? I love reading and in order to read you have to buy books. Wow! You heard it here first folks, buying books = reading books. I hope I have blown your mind. That being said all of these books are not from one haul, but several. Let’s break it down.

Haul:

Scythe, by Neil Shusterman

I’ve heard so many amazing things about this book and cannot wait to see what all the hype is about! I got this book from a cute little bookstore called Oblong Books. Dystopian books always excite me and I’m excited to dive into this book. Especially when the back of the book says something like, “Thou Shalt Kill”. When I saw that I was like, “Ahhhh that sounds really interesting.” Don’t judge.

The Stolen Book of Evelyn Aubrey, by Serena Burdick

I saw this in a free little library and thought I might as well take it home! The whole premise of this book sounds really interesting and I’m hoping it’s a score for me!

The Silence of Bonaventure Arrow, by Rita Leganski

This book was in the free cart at my local library and the blurb intrigued me. We’ll have to see if it’s any good!

I’ve been listening to the audio for this book and love it so much! Me and my friends went book shopping at this amazing bookstore called Magpie Bookshop. My friend found this book and I couldn’t pass up on a physical copy. I’m really excited to finish this book soon!

Black, by Ted Dekker

I also got this book at Magpie Bookshop! Black has been sitting in my cart for a very long time and I was super excited to get it from the bookstore! I love the whole Christian suspense genre and after hearing about Ted Dekker from my fellow Frank Peretti fanatic (thanks Mrs.
Elaine :) I’m thrilled to start this book!

No Compromise, by Melody Green & David Hazard

I love the piano. I play the piano a bit and Keith Green is certainly an inspiration. I was really surprised to receive this book as a gift from my family (Thank you!). I really like Keith Green’s music and cannot wait to learn about his life in this book!!
