The Tripods (When the Tripods Came)

By: John Christopher

This book was definitely one of my favorites throughout last year. I really enjoyed the adventure aspect of it and also how intriguing it was. You can read my full blog review when you PRESS HERE.

The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle

By: AVI

I just now notice that I never did a blog review on this one :) Well it is one of my favorite books of all time. It is so intriguing and it kept me with my nose stuck in the book (not literally lol). I would read this book again 100%  It tells the story of a young 13 year old girl who goes on a ship by herself to get to America. She is the only girl on board and has to live with a bunch of men for a long time. Oh! And I forgot, she is also accused of murder.

3
The Giver
By: Lois Lowry

The Giver was definitely a favorite of mine. This story is truly enjoyable and a book that I will always remember reading. You can read the rest of my review HERE. Lois Lowry is such an amazing author and reading this book and the whole rest of the series is worth your time.

The Fellowship of the Ring

By: J.R.R Tolkien

To think that I’d didn’t even write a review for this lovely book…*sigh* I absolutely loved this book and enjoyed it so much. I think ti is my favorite for, all of the Lord of the Rings books. It was just so lively and it really created a picture in my head. I could hear everyone’s voices and I felt like I was on the journey with them. J.R.R Tolkien is such a good story teller and I love his style of writing. It does get slow sometimes but that’s okay because it’s so detailed and you can tell that he put so much thought and time into these books.

1
The Oath
By: Frank Peretti

The Oath by Frank Peretti was such an amazing book. All of Frank Peretti’s books really suck you in and give you pictures in your mind and it’s like watching a movie! Reading this book was an experience like all of his books are. Frank Peretti is such an amazing author and is really good at character development.

The book follows the story of a man whose brother is killed in a strange town and the man tries to find out who killed his brother. That is a very shallow way of describing this book there is so much more but I don’t want to spoil any of it for you!

This book does contain a lot of spiritual battle and more adult content so I would recommend this book for more mature teens and all adults.  To purchase the book, PRESS HERE
(This book is actually from 2024 :)

Happy Reading!
-Ariana :)
