The Tripods, The White Mountains (BOOK REVIEW)
Aliens now rule the world and control humans by capping them with helmets that take over your brain, actions and thoughts.....13 year old Will who isn’t sure about the idea of being capped. Everyone celebrates being capped like its some sort of holiday. But why does he even need to be capped? When his best friend is capped Will notices how he isn't even the same person anymore. Will doesn't want to change. He decides that he has to get away from the Tripods. Will go's to The White Mountains with the hope that he will avoid being capped. But the journey to the White Mountains is no easy task. Will and some friends make their way on the long journey but to make matters even harder, they have to stay out of sight of every Tripod.
I liked this book a lot! It was very interesting and intense at some points. I like the idea of the story line, and the characters. The story line keeps the book exciting the whole time and really makes it
I give this book a 5 out of 10 and recommend it to ages 12+
